Hi I'm James, an aspiring web developer and coder currently studying with Coder Academy.

I'm a keen problem solver that loves to mix creativity with logic & I'm eager to play a part in bringing your ideas to life.

I currently work in Superannuation for the Australian Government and have experience in music and audio production, having scored a short film for London Film School and experience working with clients for custom audio solutions.

I am looking to switch careers and join the ever-shifting world of tech.

Education

I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a double degree in a Bachelor of Economics & Finance (Economics major) and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology major).

I'm currently enrolled in a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp with Coder Academy, finishing mid way through 2023.

Approach

I'm a fast, eager learner with a curious mind.

Coming from a background of dealing with audio and music production, I found some similarities in my approach to working with code.

Curiosity in its vastness of possibilities, leaving room for creative exploration.

I'm interested in coding because it allows some creative freedom and expression in approaching a solution. It's creative problem solving, executed by logic.

I truly believe that my passion lies in the creation process. Whether I'm working solo on a small project for a client or working with a team to help arrive at a common goal; being a part of the creative process is something that I strive for and look forward to being a part of.
